La Villa Banya: Russian banya traditions in the heart of Dubai
When creating the most premium bathhouse in the Middle East, we were inspired by ancient Russian traditions of steaming, architecture, pottery and weaving crafts and, of course, the tastes of traditional Russian cuisine.

The banya “Khutor” is a real grandma’s house in the village, where you will fulfill the atmosphere of Russian identity. Made of natural clay, it will give you the comfort, warmth and care familiar from childhood.

One of the best steam experiences of my life! Everything was top-notch — the steaming procedure was thought out to the smallest detail, the accessories and decor were beautiful, and the food was absolutely delicious, just like homemade.

We booked the “Sibirskaya Izba” banya, and everything was just perfect — from every detail of the interior, the magical scent of fresh wood and hay, and the music, to the steam room with various types of brooms made of lavender, wormwood, and more, the highly professional bath masters, the cold plunge pool, and of course the traditional Russian feast with herring, fish soup, and an incredibly delicious pancake cake 😍.

I definitely recommend trying it out. The price may seem a bit high, but you get a lot of great extras included — totally worth it! So go for it, you won’t regret it.
And the waiter, Bek, is awesome!!! He’s got such a pleasant voice — he should be recording audiobooks!
